Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She was awarded the best actress award for her roles in Nashville in the 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also received the award for Sharknado 2013 where she portrayed Claudia Shepard. In addition, she played the principal character Jerrica Jem Betnton in the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, was raised on Lake Mary Florida. The younger sister of her is Ally. Aubrey performed at the Orlando Repertory Theatre in her young age for about 10 years. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class of 2012. Harvard University admitted her, but she had to agree on her entry again the second time due to her Nashville part. Peeples starred as a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). The actress appeared on TV in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 as well as The Good Mother. She joined the cast in an important recurring role on the second season of the show drama Nashville where she played Layla Grant. In 2019, Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples on September 14, 2014, as being one of the top American young actors.
